A local fire truck responds to a call November 11, 2012 in downtown Warrensburg, Mo. The driver was leaving the fire station located near North Holden and Madison streets. Sirens sounded seconds after this photograph was snapped.
On Halloween evening 2012 onlookers in downtown Warrensburg were treated to a fire show by “Incendio.” Members of the performing-group Incendio include Jeluna, Shawn, Jaime, Christina, Jeremy & Heather. Incendio means fire in both Spanish amd Italian. (Christina pictured)
Shawn Kelly gets things going spinning poi. Poi is the New Zealand word for “ball.” The Maori tribes spun balls on cords to practice for wielding weapons, build upper body strength and to keep their hands and wrists supple for weaving.
